You should be doing it, but you're not...

Often times I hear: “I know what I should be eating, but I end up eating other things”, “ I know I should be working out”, “ I know how to workout, but I’m not doing it”.

It is also true that sometimes people just don’t know what to eat or how to best exercise to support their goals.

But let me tell you... figuring out what and how much you should be eating and exercising is the easiest part of the journey.

The hardest part is to work on your mindset to put your plan into practice.

Bad habits, emotions, environment, people you surround yourself with... all these elements need to be taken into consideration throughout your journey.

If we look into these, we can truly understand what is going on and deal with it. But if we ignore it, then we can be hard on ourselves and hurt our self believe and self esteem.

It becomes a matter of extremes, if you follow the plan perfectly you’re good, if you don’t follow the plan exactly how you set out to be, then you’re a failure. And with that, comes a vicious cycle that can lead you to eat and exercise in very unhealthy ways.

So STOP punishing yourself and start LOVING yourself by asking and exploring which element needs your attention in order to get back on track with your plan.

I believe that sometimes improving one little thing can lead to massive changes. The question is: which element is the one having the most impact on your decisions right now? If you’re struggling to figure that out by yourself, reach out for help.
